If you haven’t heard of Orlando duo SALES, you need to get to know their gorgeous new single as soon as possible. It’s called ‘Off And On’ and it's as lovely as it is minimal, with conversational guitar lines, crisp drums and frontwoman Lauren Morgan’s vocal musing ‘Is it just our indifference or the distance that keeps us on this path?’. It feels a little bit like The xx in places, with heavily reverbed guitar lines providing a counterpoint to the spoken verses. The track is the follow up to single ‘Talk A Lot’, which they dropped six months ago, and comes almost exactly a year on from their debut self-titled album release. Fingers crossed this means there’s another one in the pipeline! -HM
